Yes. Yes, I *do* appreciate the irony in the fact that I am spending my time *reading about* & *blogging about* productivity. But you've gotta get motivation and encouragement, right? I found some here.
I've heard about this book before. I think I want to read it. I definitely want to adopt and tweak the idea of an "Ideal Week" plan (Ideal Day? Ideal Month? Ideal Week? Ideal Year? I could really run with this!). There is no doubt in my mind at all that I need to plan more margin into my life; I'm just a goober in that I need permission and a script before I do it :0) But I will definitely be doing it. My family needse too. There. THAT's enough motivation. I'll get the book. :0)
This woman. Amazing. I can truly say, she's one of the most encouraging, uplifting, come-alongside type of person I've (n)ever met. That list is very, very short, my friends. Like, I can count it one hand. So often, she makes me realize that I'm not alone, when I hadn't even realized that I *was* feeling alone. Read this article, then hang around her site and read some more stuff. It's all good :0)
It'd be great a full spectrum of education was the regular practice of every woman who was pregnant or planning to be. So many only hear one side, and a very biased slant on that one side! This short article might be a good place to start.
I don't have personal experience with this, but I like what the man has to say, and I've definitely seen the issue & agree with where he says things are headed. (PS- testing an autopost feature I'm tweaking)
It’s not the school’s fault if your kid is a lazy wuss
