Another Peek Into The Mango Tree

My confusion Rendered me numb To their love. Yet they continued To chafe And nudge And pat And call me. I felt The chafing The shaking And brushed it away In my delirium. When it ceased- I knew it As love. yet By then I had gone. Across the river The bridge The gorge. I look back, Strain my eyes, Seek for them And Mouth my thanks. Then, Knowing they cannot See me Hear me I search for Another upon whom To bestow The gift That has opened me so that carrying it Longer Does not crush The blossom They sacrificed and endured To help bloom #poetry #blog
