A test for orneriness

I had a cranky-ish child yesterday, and I couldn't quite tell if she was maybe getting sick, or was just plain ornery. At lunch, the children and I got into a conversation about dogs, and their sizes, and someone asked me about "the very biggest dog". So after a little bit of Googling, I found this picture of the current holder for "World's Tallest Dog":

I passed the picture around the table, and when it got to the child that I just wasn't sure about, she shrugged and said "That's just a small dog." 

A-HA! That is just plain orneriness!
